A slowing down, a return to your roots, and a harvesting of nature’s wisdom as summer draws to a close. On the fall equinox, day and night rest in perfect balance worldwide; this retreat is your invitation to find that same equilibrium within. Through embodied practice, reflective ritual, and nature-anchored guidance, Kyle and Andrea create space to release what no longer serves and gather the sustenance needed to move through autumn with clarity, resilience, and tenderness.
-
Set on AKERA's 123-acre property in the Catskills, Harvest Within weaves movement, reflection, and nature-based ritual across thoughtfully designed gathering spaces. We open in AKERA's signature Mothership - a cathedral-like 3,600 sq ft geodesic dome perched at the crown of the land. Morning and evening practices unfold in The Studio and Sanctuary. Time between sessions is yours to explore: cold plunge, barrel sauna, hot tub, and acres of living landscape. We integrate beside the fire, along hiking trails, and in intimate salons. The land's varied habitats - forest, meadow, and quiet water - weave through the weekend, informing guided nature walks, and grounding practices with a few surprises sprinkled throughout the weekend.
-
Andrea’s alignment-based, accessible sequencing deepens embodiment and builds strength. Kyle’s somatic, heart-centered practices cultivate emotional integration and restorative rest. Together, they hold a container for honest inquiry, gentle challenge, and soulful replenishment.

What should I bring?
We've taken care of the essentials so you can travel light and arrive with ease. Bedding, towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are all waiting for you.
Here's what to toss in your bag:
Layers. Late September in the Catskills is golden — and unpredictable. Warm afternoons, crisp evenings, and the occasional rain shower are all part of the season. Pack clothing you can move in, a bathing suit for the sauna, cold plunge, and hot tub, and shoes you don't mind getting muddy on the trail.
Your outdoor kit. Bug spray, sunscreen, and a rain jacket. We'll be spending real time on the land — come ready for it.
Your personal care basics. Whatever you reach for in the morning. The bathrooms handle the rest.
Any medications or supplements you take regularly. Don't forget these.
Optional: Your mat. Everything else for practice is handled.
What are the retreat guidelines?
This weekend belongs to everyone here. A few simple agreements to help us hold it well together:
Arrive fully. When you're here, be here. We invite you to limit phone use during shared sessions and meals — not as a rule, but as an invitation to actually feel the weekend.
Honor the rhythm. Morning and evening practices are the heartbeat of the retreat. Show up as you're able, and let the structure hold you.
Respect the land. We are guests of this place. Stay on marked trails, leave no trace, and treat the property as you would a home you love.
Hold space for others. Everyone arrives carrying something. Lead with kindness, assume good intent, and give people the room to have their own experience.
Rest is part of the practice. Free time is not empty time. Sleep, wander, do nothing — all of it counts.

Yoga in Ancient Epidavros, Greece
With Kyle James Adam
+ Andrea Borrero
-
We'll spend the week together in this idyllic and charming seaside Greek village, eating fresh Mediterranean meals, practicing yoga and meditation twice daily as you look out at the ocean, perhaps learning to scuba dive or snorkeling amongst the ancient ruins of the Sunken City of Epidaurus. We'll hike, visit nearby islands and beaches, explore the local village and food scene, and wander about the remains of the largest Greek amphitheater from the ancient world and the Sanctuary of Asclepius, the god of medicine. Peaceful, serene, and unspoiled by mass tourism, the quaint fishing village of Epidaurus will be our home as we immerse ourselves in practice and self-exploration in this beautiful corner of the world.
-
The Mangelis Family has owned and operated the lovely hotel where we'll be staying for generations and has an acclaimed reputation for the village's finest seaside and Greek vegetarian cuisine. Our accommodations sit next to a bay of morning sunrises, afternoon sailboats lazily making their way to shore, and evening magenta-colored sunsets, all against the backdrop of the sleeping volcano of Methana.
-
The rooms are simple and clean, with a Mediterranean feel, and most offer a view of the sea and a balcony. Our yoga shala is on a covered rooftop and offers gorgeous views of the sea below. Each meal is made with fresh ingredients, in the Mediterranean tradition.

Day 1 - Saturday - October 4, 2025
We will rendezvous at Athens Airport for a 3:00 p.m. group transport to the retreat center in Ancient Epidaurus, two hours south of Athens. You'll settle into your accommodations, explore the hotel's environs, and meet with the center host before enjoying our opening circle and first practice together: a peaceful Yoga Nidra Meditation and restorative Yoga to wipe off the day of travel. An opening night dinner follows.
Day 2 - Sunday - October 5, 2025
Start your first full day on retreat with an early morning meditation and a refreshing Vinyasa flow after a good night’s sleep, followed by breakfast. Our group excursion will be a guided historical walking tour through the village of Epidaurus to the small beach of the Sunken City, learning about the area's archeological treasures and ancient history from a local expert. You can explore the town more independently or swim longer at the Sunken City before our gentle evening practice and dinner.
Day 3 - Monday - October 6, 2025
Wake every day to an early meditation practice overlooking the water, followed by a morning flow to invigorate and energize us. After breakfast, we’ll take a short ferry ride to the island of Spetses and spend the day exploring this lovely island, a cosmopolitan and favored destination of Athenians. With no cars allowed on the island, it’s a walker’s paradise. If that’s not for you, a charming horse and carriage ride will show you the sites, or you can rent ATVs and explore the island at a faster clip. Wander onto a secluded beach shaded by pine trees, visit the old boatyards full of history, or shop the elegant stores in the Old Harbour. We’ll return to the mainland in time for a relaxing practice and dinner.
Day 4 - Tuesday - October 7, 2025
Wake every day to an early meditation practice overlooking the water, followed by a morning flow to invigorate and energize us. Today, we’ll step into the ancient world and visit the Amphitheater of Epidaurus, part of the famous healing Sanctuary of Asclepius. A local guide will take us through the ruins as we learn about this area's fantastic role in healing the people who came from far away to see its doctors. We’ll come together again in our evening practice and dinner.
Day 5 - Wednesday - October 8, 2025
Wake every day to an early meditation practice overlooking the water, followed by a morning flow to invigorate and energize us. Shortly after breakfast, we will depart for the Village of Nafplio on the Argolic Gulf, a 1⁄2 hour drive from our hotel. Nafplio has been influenced by the Turks, the Venetians, and the Franks over the millennia, and its medieval Old Town breathes history. We’ll spend the day exploring this area before heading back to the retreat center for a relaxing evening practice and dinner.
Day 6 - Thursday - October 9, 2025
Wake every day to an early meditation practice overlooking the water, followed by a morning flow to invigorate and energize us. After breakfast, we’ll take a short ferry ride to the island of Poros and spend the day exploring this lovely island, full of pine forests, lemon trees, and old-world charm. Enjoy a stroll along the waterfront, visit the temple of Poseidon, or shop in its quaint shops. An optional side trip to the island of Hydra will be offered, with the ferry leaving from Poros. We’ll return to the mainland in time for a relaxing practice and dinner.
Day 7 - Friday - October 10, 2025
Wake every day to an early meditation practice overlooking the water, followed by a morning flow to invigorate and energize us. After breakfast, we’ll offer optional activities or additional excursions around the area. If you prefer, you can have a free day to spend at one of the local beaches or set out exploring on your own. We’ll come together for one final evening practice and our farewell dinner.
Day 8 - Saturday - October 11, 2025
A final morning practice and breakfast will be offered before catching the group transport back to Athens airport. We won’t want to leave!
*Some details in the itinerary may change as we get closer to departure or on-site because of unforeseen circumstances. In addition, please know that all yoga and meditation classes are optional, as are excursions; if you prefer to explore the area on your own, there will be a list of suggested things to do and see in the area.
-
For those who might want to join us, Andrea and I are headed to the gorgeous island of Crete right after our retreat! Feel free to do your own thing, or join us on more excursions as we explore yet another fabulous corner of Greece.
On Saturday, October 11, after the retreat ends, we'll travel back to Athens airport to catch a mid-morning flight to Crete on Aegean Air. *. We have reserved a block of rooms at the beautiful Iberostar Selection Creta Marine for 3 nights, then return to Athens for flights out on Tuesday, October 14th.
Maybe we'll check out the Palace of Knossos, take a day trip to the reported birthplace of Zeus (yes, The Zeus!), explore the cities of Heraklion and Chania, or even take a ferry to the island of Santorini. You may opt out of it all and choose to spend three days by the pool or on the beach at our hotel.
There will be plenty more camaraderie, good eats, and golden sunsets!
We have space for 3 - 6 people, so let us know!

What Sets My Retreats Apart
01 / Attention to Details
Leave all the planning to me and my retreat partner, Andrea Borrero. From meals to premium lodging, we infuse intention into every moment. Our events prioritize comfort, safety, and respect—so you can show up as you are and fully engage.
02 / Expert Facilitation
Led by experienced teachers who know how to hold space, encourage participation, and keep things moving with purpose. All classes are accessible, with options to scale your practice up or down.
03 / Collaborative Energy
Connection is central to the process. You’ll learn just as much from the group as from the content itself. Travel is the best teacher that transforms perspectives, builds practical life skills, and deepens human connection.
