Kyle James Adam (They/he) is a yoga and sound bath facilitator, eternal student, and creative soul based in New York City - originally from New Orleans. With over 20 years of personal practice and 5,000+ hours of teaching experience, Kyle supports students in finding freedom, balance, and self-compassion through mindful movement and embodied awareness.
Kyle has completed over 650 hours of formal education, including trauma-informed and size-inclusive adaptive yoga teacher trainings, private mentorships, Pranayama study, ACE-certified Personal Training, Senior Fitness & Orthopedic Specialist, Pilates certification, and a B.F.A. in Dance from Wright State University.
Kyle’s classes are known for thoughtful sequencing, musicality, and an inclusive, student-centered approach. Rooted in Ashtanga and enriched by dance, Pilates, and functional strength work, each class is a container for collective joy—the practice of moving and breathing in community—where self-regulation naturally becomes co-regulation.
